Don’t sign petitions unless you take the time to read them
I’ve witnessed strangers with stacks of “petitions” soliciting signatures (right next to signs reading “No Soliciting”) from grocery store patrons, asking them to sign vague, misleading, multi-page documents. I have witnessed grocery customers signing these documents without so much as reading the attached four pages of fine print. Impulse buying is one thing, but impulse signing what appear to be contractual agreements is just mind numbingly stupid. Do not do it.
