Whether or not you believe in “manmade” global warming, aka climate change, it is perceived by many, if not most, of the Western Hemisphere as reality.
The global warming phenomenon is propagated by elite, rich, powerful environmental lobbyists who reap great financial benefits.
They don’t achieve these financial benefits through the private sector, i.e. innovation, venture capitalism, competition, etc. Rather, they take it from U.S. government coffers, yours and my taxes.
Allowing these elite to pursue cap-and-trade policies and reduce fossil fuels – coal, oil, natural gas etc. – will only make them richer.

In turn, however, it will rob the middle class through increasingly higher taxes, destroy millions of jobs, take away inexpensive means of transportation and drive heating and air conditioning cost through the roof – no pun intended!
