The Mariposa County Board of Supervisors has received a $5,000 grant from PG&E to develop a recreation guide to benefit tourists.
The grant is part of PG&E’s Local Economic Development grants program. Marilyn Lidyoff, economic and business development coordinator, said the county will use the funds to develop a map, which will identify recreational venues throughout Mariposa County.
The map will be available July 3 at the Mariposa County Economic Development Office, Yosemite/Mariposa Visitors Bureau and Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce. For more about the brochure, call 209 966-4321.
