The first of three storms rolling through the Valley this week dropped .63 inches of rain by 1 p.m. today, measured at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
No more rain is forecast for today, but lingering clouds over the Valley and mountains may make it difficult to view tonight's total eclipse of the moon, said Chris Stachelski, meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Hanford.
"It's not the best weather for eclipse viewing," he said.
The next storm is expected Thursday afternoon through Friday.
The last storm in the series, due Saturday night through Sunday, could bring the heaviest rainfall and snow down to about 4,000 feet.
