MADERA -- Two Chowchilla men were arrested today on suspicion of murder in connection with what authorities described as an execution-style slaying Jan. 19 in a dairy barn near Chowchilla.
Madera County Sheriff John Anderson identified the two suspects as 20-year-old Jesus Reynoso Flores and 22-year-old Jose Antonio Flores Ventura.
The two suspects allegedly appeared in a grainy videotape from a milking barn surveillance camera, but Anderson said a tip about a unique hooded sweatshirt worn by one of the suspects led to the arrests. A tattered portion of a sweatshirt matching the one in the videotape was found in the dog pen Anderson said was encountered in Reynoso Flores' home.
Narvaez Torrez, 19, died Jan. 19 at the dairy on Avenue 24 between roads 5 1/2 and 6, west of Chowchilla. He was about to begin his first shift, deputies reported at the time.
