A hiker missing at Yosemite National Park since Sunday has been found, according to park officials.
Esmin Garmendia-Barrios was found by searchers in a helicopter near Washburn Point, the area where he was last seen, at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Washburn Point is about a mile from Glacier Point.
Nearly 200 volunteers helped in the rescue effort.
Garmendia-Barrios, a 25-year-old Honduran who speaks Spanish and broken English, was on a day trip with another man and a 12-year-old boy to the Washburn Point and Glacier Point areas. He told his friends he wanted to be alone to read his Bible in a parking lot at Washburn Point, but when they returned 30 minutes later, he was gone.
