A Dos Palos man returned home Saturday morning to find two people burglarizing his house.
The man came home just before 9 a.m. and saw a small gold vehicle parked in the back with his property inside. When the suspects saw him, they drove away. The man gave chase while he stayed on the phone with the Merced County Sheriff's Department.
A short while later, Dos Palos police officers pulled over the car, driven by Jerry Rollins, 33, and Shirley Davis, 38, both of Dos Palos. The victim identified Rollins and Davis as the suspects he saw at his home.
The victim's property was found at another home and returned to him. Police found a black billy club with a nylon strap inside the car.
