Comcast is introducing two new channels this week. Starting Wednesday, subscribers to Comcast's limited basic-digital service will get Mega TV on channel 200, and Universal Sports on channel 187.
Mega TV, owned by Miami-based Spanish Broadcasting Systems Inc., is targeted at Hispanic viewers and is expanding westward to compete with Univision and Telemundo.
Universal Sports focuses on sports contested at the Olympics, and will offer programming from the upcoming Winter Games in Vancouver.
On Jan. 28, Comcast will move KGMC from its limited basic package to the limited-basic digital service level. It will remain on channel 10.
