TRACY -- Narcotics agents made 30 arrests Thursday targeting the Nuestra Familia prison and street gang in San Joaquin County, one day after they announced 101 arrests in Madera and Merced counties.
Among those arrested was John Pantoja, 35, who was described by Special Agent Michelle Gregory of the state attorney general's office as the "gang's street regiment commander" for the Tracy area.
Pantoja is being held in the San Joaquin County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond on suspicion of drug and weapons charges, street terrorism and receiving stolen property.
Authorities said agents seized 11 guns while searching 24 properties.
