Anyone’s Guess No-Tap at McHenry
We had a few Bellevue Bowlers place in the annual Anyone's Guess senior no-tap at McHenry Bowl last Friday. It looked like the lanes were to the liking for Billy Bob Simons, Greg Bennett, and Pete DeVries as they all rolled 300 games during the day.
Bennett finished in a tie for third in the men’s high series with a 923 and Simons in fourth with a 915.
In the women’s it was Linda Roach taking first in the women’s high series with a super 987. The first game was a 8-pin no-tap, the second game was crazy as it was even pins a strike, or odd pins were a spare, and the final game was regular 9-pin.
The next senior 9-pin no-tap is this Friday at 1 p.m. at Yosemite Lanes for the 50 and older men and women. Entry fee is only $13. There is no pot-luck lunch at Yosemite.
Ten Pin Fun Center
A little news from the site in Turlock about the up and coming bowling entertainment center. Spread footing and the grade beams have been poured. They are setting up the stem walls in the bowling lanes area last week and plane to pour them later this coming week. Right after that they will pour the bowling lanes areas next week
