Freshman Williams sprints Stone Ridge to 2-0 start

SANTA ANA -- Stone Ridge Christian freshman running back

Kalan Williams is quickly making a name for himself.

Two games into his high school career, Williams has twice proven to be the difference for Stone Ridge (2-0).

Williams followed up his tremendous debut with 187 rushing yards and three touchdowns to lead Stone Ridge past Rincon Valley Christian (2-1) in a

39-13 victory on Saturday.

Junior quarterback Matt Borges threw two touchdown passes to Robert Askew and ran for a third as Stone Ridge had one of its best offensive nights in school history.

Williams has 424 rushing yards and six total touchdowns in two weeks.
