Collision in Livingston area kills at least one

A collision between a big rig and a Dodge Ram killed at least one passenger around 5 p.m. Tuesday, California Highway Patrol reported.

There were few details immediately available on the crash on Lincoln Boulevard near Atwater Jordan Road, officers reported.

The crash also took out several power lines and left about 250 people in the area without power, according to the Pacific Gas and Electric website.

Segments of Lincoln Boulevard were closed to traffic.
