‘World Guitar Night’ returns to Merced College
Merced College announced its first performance in the 2015-16 Lecture and Performance Series, which will feature music of Italy, the Mediterranean and America.
Renowned guitarists Francesco Buzzurro and Richard Smith will perform at the Merced College Theater on Sept. 25. The guitarists, who played before a packed Merced audience two years ago, are touring the United States in September.
“People raved about their last show here,” said John Albano, dean of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts, in a news release. “The audience was simply blown away. This is a world class event for Merced.”
Tickets go on sale on Aug. 12 and will be available for purchase through the Merced College Theater Box Office, the college Bookstore, and at Gottschalk’s Music on Main Street in Merced.
General admission is $14, while tickets for students, seniors and military are $10.
