Another famed comedian coming to Modesto’s Gallo Center. Who, how to get tickets
Famed comedian Marlon Wayans will perform at the Gallo Center for the Arts late next year.
The show is rescheduled from one postponed from the current 2025-26 season, the center’s CEO Chad Hilligus said in an email.
The center also has added a pair of other high-profile shows to its current season, he noted — Mexican pop star Fey and Valley homegrown favorite Chris Isaak.
Wayans is not just a comedian, but an actor, producer, writer and film director. His latest comedy special, “Good Grief,“ streams on Amazon Prime Video and hit No. 1 on the platform its first week, according to the Gallo Center website.
Tickets, $45 to $105, are on sale to see Wayans’ stand-up comedy at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.
Mexican icon’s first Gallo concert
Fey “is one of the most influential singers in the history of Spanish-language music,” a Facebook post by the Gallo Center says.
She is bringing her 30th anniversary celebration “Hits Tour” to the center.
This will be her first performance there, set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 27. Tickets are $52-$98 and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday.
Central Valley native to perform March 1
Stockton native Isaak is known for hits over his 40-year career including “Wicked Game,” “Somebody’s Crying” and “Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing.” He also starred in “The Chris Isaak Show” on Showtime, along with other acting and musical credits.
Isaak performs at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 1, with tickets at $75 to $125.
The Gallo Center is at 1000 I St., Modesto. Tickets and more information on the shows can be found at www.galloarts.org.
