Authentic country, classic rock highlight concerts coming to Merced in January
Looking for something fun to do? There appears to be plenty of choices to be entertained in Merced County in the month of January.
Here are some of the events:
Speakeasy Soirée
WHAT: ”Merced’s most elusive night of the year” is a fundraiser for United Way of Merced County. It will feature heavy appetizers and dessert bites, cocktails, live music and an “immersive speakeasy poker room.”

Strait Country: Buck Ford’s Tribute To George Strait
WHAT: Nashville-based artist Buck Ford and his Pure Country Band perform a tribute show to country music legend George Strait. According to his website, “Buck and his band pride themselves on the fact that their performances ‘bring back to life’ that authentic country sound with an edgy modern new flavor.”

‘We Are The Tigers’
WHAT: According to genius.com, ‘We Are the Tigers’ is a pop rock musical ... that follows a cheerleading captain and her team trying to survive the annual cheer sleepover when a serial killer strikes.

K-POP Stars Live Show Tribute
WHAT: According to its listing on Eventbrite, this is the “only live show paying tribute to the biggest K-POP stars!” The show will have tributes to Huntrix Saja Boys, BLACKPINK and BTS, the listing says.

The Kings of Queen — A Live & Authentic Tribute to Queen
WHAT: The Kings of Queen call themselves “the nation’s top Queen tribute band.” According to the band’s website, “What makes The Kings of Queen truly unique is that they are purists in that they do not sing to tracks. All of the music and the vocals that you hear are 100% played live by the members of The Kings of Queen.”
