Mariachi, folk, hard rock music acts highlight Merced County entertainment in May

The weather outside is heating up and so is the entertainment scene in Merced.

Paranormal Cirque Voodoo

WHAT: Cirque Italia brings a thrilling, cabaret-style circus show under a black and red tent to the Merced County Fairgrounds.

Mariachi Los Camperos

WHAT: Mariachi Los Camperos is considered by many to be among the finest mariachi ensembles in the world. The group has five Grammy nominations and has taken home three Grammy Awards.

The Carole King & James Taylor Story

WHAT: This loving tribute takes you on an incredible journey through the careers of King, the six-time Grammy Award winner and 20-time platinum hitmaker, and Taylor, an American folk legend and five-time Grammy winner.

René Vaca Tour

WHAT: René Vaca is a 29-year-old stand-up comedian, writer and actor from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California.

Merced Art Festival Week

WHAT: The event features large-scale murals, immersive art installations, live performances, artist demos and vendors.

4th annual Tribute to Merced Legends Concert

WHAT: Performances will be by The Akoustics, featuring John Albano and guests Cheryl Lockett and Natalie Albano; and Sound Remedy with guest Mike Hammar. A portion of ticket sales benefit the Merced Cancer Center.

Piper The Musical
