'90s Rock Band Hints at 25th Anniversary Tour
A major celebration may be on the way for the iconic '90s band as Blink-182 hints at something big and exciting.
The trio, composed of Mark Hoppus on bass guitar and vocals, Tom DeLonge on lead guitar and Travis Barker on drums, generated massive buzz after sharing a cryptic teaser that appeared to be connected to their fourth studio album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
As seen on their Instagram Story, the post featured the album's iconic artwork, featuring a traffic light against a solid black background.
In addition, the post also included a link that points to their mailing list for band announcements.
Although Blink-182 has kept the teaser a mystery, the public believes it may be tied to the upcoming 25th anniversary of the album, prompting theories about a possible reissue or a commemorative tour announcement.

Released on June 12, 2001, the album includes one of their most popular tracks "The Rock Show" which served as the lead single.
The fast-paced pop punk song, written by Mark Hoppus, also peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.
Adding to the list of Blink-182's hit songs from Take Off Your Pants and Jacket were "First Date," as well as "Stay Together for the Kids" and "Everytime I Look for You," which was also featured in American Pie 2.
The breakthrough success of their third album brought the band extreme pressure, especially after Enema of the State "got way bigger" than they imagined it would.
"We had this longing to prove we weren't just this commercialized pop band, so I felt like we had a lot to prove with Take Off Your Pants and Jacket," Barker told SiriusXM in 2016. "That's probably why we try to write a little bit more serious songs. At the end of the day it came up with ‘The Rock Show' and ‘First Date' which ended up being the singles. I think it was a cool time and I think once that album passed us, we were able to kind of prove to ourselves we had some staying power and kinda felt better with our own skin."
Blink-182 Headlining Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park 2027
Apart from the upcoming surprise by Blink-182, the band shows no signs of slowing down as the trio confirmed their appearance at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
Set for June 4 through 6, 2027, the rock music festival announced the "All The Small Things" hitmaker as its first major headliner, which will also mark the band's first-ever performance at the festival.
