Watch: 'Camp Snoopy' Season 2 gets trailer, June premiere date

June 9 (UPI) --Camp Snoopy will return for a second season in June.

Apple TV shared a trailer and June 26 premiere date for Season 2 on Tuesday.

Camp Snoopy is an animated series based on the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz.

In Season 2, Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts return to Camp Spring Lake, along with Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang.

Viewers will join Snoopy and the crew "as they hike, swim and leap through another round of fun and adventure in the Great Outdoors, searching for the elusive hedge toad, building towering sandcastles and debating the merits of hot dogs versus hamburgers," an official synopsis reads.

Apple TV is also developing the upcoming feature film Snoopy Unleashed, which sees the Peanuts gang head to the Big City to search for Snoopy after he runs away from home.
