‘Saved by the Bell' Star Mark-Paul Gosselaar Shocks With Fit Physique, Dancing in Crop Top and Shorts

Mark-Paul Gosselaar may have risen to stardom as a teen on Saved by the Bell, but the actor is making it clear that he's all grown up.

Gosselaar, 52, played the iconic Bayside High cool guy Zack Morris on Saved by the Bell from 1989 to 1993, and continued his role as Morris on the short-lived series Saved by the Bell: The College Years. In the years that followed, he had a variety of successful roles on everything from NYPD Blue to the TNT legal series Franklin & Bash. With a raunchy new comedy on the schedule (more on that below!), the star took to the stage at a promotional event and showed off his rock-hard abs and chiseled body in a crop top and short shorts. Dancing around, having the time of his life, Gosselaar stunned the crowd with his fit physique. The entire experience was caught on TikTok, and attendees were blown away.

What is Mark-Paul Gosselaar's New Project?

Gosselaar is set to appear in the workplace buddy comedy Bulges, which follows on from a 2024 Crave special, The Dessert Presents: St. Bulges Day, Deadline reported earlier this week. The project "follows Gosselaar and the eccentric staff at an iconic and once-thriving all-male, not-so-family-friendly restaurant in Niagara Falls." Described as "if Hooters were designed for women," the comedy sounds like a wild ride!

Will They Reboot Saved by the Bell Again?

While 90210 has already been rebooted, Saved by the Bell was back in action… for a short amount of time, at least. A reboot of the series aired on Peacock for two seasons from November 2020 to December 2021, and starred Gosselaar as his beloved character, who was still married to his longtime love, Kelly Kapowski, played by Tiffani Thiessen. However, the reboot didn't stick. When asked if she thought another one was possible, Thiessen spoke candidly.

"I don't think so. I think they tried it," she told PEOPLE last year. Even though it didn't last, Thiessen made it clear she "loved the reboot."
