Merced County entertainment in July: There’s more than just the Fourth

Independence Day is always an important date for Merced County festivities in July, and especially this year as our nation turns 250 years old.

But July Fourth isn’t the only time to have fun this summer.

Below are some of the noteworthy concerts and acts coming to Merced County in July.

Comedy Night: Headliner Rosalee Mayeux featuring Patrick Rabin

WHAT: Rosalee Mayeux is an award-winning comedian. She was the winner of Cedric the Entertainer and CBS’s “Comedy Pays,” and has appeared in over 300 commercials and productions across ABC, NBC, CBS and Nickelodeon.

‘Shrek The Musical’

WHAT: : “Shrek the Musical” is a one-of-a-kind, hilarious fairy tale in which curses are reversed, monsters get the girls, donkeys and dragons find love, and princesses are beautiful in all shapes and sizes.
