Merced Theatre announces movie lineup. Some showings are free
The Merced Theatre announced its movie lineup for the rest of 2026, and it features some fun favorites that are either free or cheaper than usual movie prices.
It also includes a showing that features an interactive experience and sing-along.
The theater is located at 301 W Main St. in Merced.
Here’s a list of the movies:
- “The Goonies” — July 17, 7 p.m., free
- “Napoleon Dynamite” — Sept. 4, 7 p.m., free
- “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” — Oct. 23, 10 p.m., $10. This is an interactive showing with costumes available and characters welcome.
- “The Nightmare Before Christmas” — Nov. 6, 7 p.m., $5
- “It’s A Wonderful Life” — Dec. 11, 7 p.m., free. Donations for the Merced County Food Bank will be collected.
- “The Polar Express” — Dec. 13, 3 p.m., $5
