Celebrity Kids Going to College in 2025: Sasha Schreiber and More
Just like Us parents, celebrities are dropping their kids off at college this year - and feeling all the feels.
"We packed and unpacked, stacked and color coded. We walked and walked, woke up early with excitement. Then we shopped and shopped, and sometimes fought about stupid stuff," Naomi Watts wrote via Instagram in August of her experience dropping son Sasha, 18, off at the University of Southern California. "We laughed, we cried, I had a few extra secret cries and maybe some not so private ones. We hugged a lot."
Watts, 56, shares Sasha with ex Liev Schreiber, who was also on hand for move-in day.
"Starting to feel the pull. Gonna miss my ride or die," the actor, 57, shared via Instagram alongside a photo of himself with his arm around Sasha. "Having said that, USC is gonna get one of the deepest, kindest, bravest and most beautiful boys I have ever known."
Other celebrity kids heading to college this year include Chip and Joanna Gaines' daughter Ella, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer's daughter, Ruby, and Seal and Heidi Klum's son Johan.
"College move in day NYC ," Klum, 52, shared next to a photo of herself and three of her four kids packed into an elevator via Instagram in August.

Dezi James Calvo
Jaime Pressly and ex Eric Cubiche reunited to send their son Dezi off to college. "Today was the day my Dezi James moved out of the house and into his dorm," Pressly wrote via Instagram on August 23. "I can't even count how many times I've broken down over the last week knowing today was coming. My heart just moved out and into the world and that's a terrifying feeling for any mama, but I know he's got this."
Sam Woods
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren's daughter, Sam, will be attending her pro golfer dad's alma mater, Stanford University, this fall. Although he hasn't commented on her high school graduation, Tiger, 49, was spotted cheering Sam on when her school's team won the state title in soccer in March.
Katarina Dubrow
Heather and Terry Dubrow's daughter Katarina will be attending Yale University. "We are so proud of you and excited to watch you SHINE in college !!!! WE LOVE YOU !!!!!," Heather, 56, shared via Instagram in May alongside photos of Katarina's "bed party."
Sasha Schreiber
Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber's oldest child, Sasha, will be a student at USC beginning this year. The actors shared many photos from their experience moving their son into school, as well as sentimental messages. "We met so many great people. We had deep talks mixed in with a few fart jokes... then gave advice about how the world works," Watts shared via Instagram. "But then remembered: he's got this!! He did it!! He dreamed big and worked really hard for something wonderful. Go @sashapeteschreiber – we love you so much. #usc."
Ella Gaines
Chip and Joanna Gaines' oldest daughter, Ella, headed off to college "across the country" in August. "Our little girl, all grown up. #headedtocollege," Joanna, 47, shared via Instagram alongside a photo of Ella's suitcases sitting at the bottom of the stairs. During an interview with the Today show, she added that it was "different" saying goodbye to her daughter vs. her son Drake. "She went farther and she's my girl, so I thought, ‘Oh I have this down with Drake. I already know.' But it's different," she admitted.
Johan Samuel
Heidi Klum is a pro college drop-offer after sending her daughter Leni and son Henry to school. This year, she helped son Johan get settled with the help of his older siblings. "College move in day NYC ," the model shared via Instagram alongside a photo of herself, Leni, Henry and Johan crammed into an elevator with his belongings.
Bryce James
LeBron James' son Bryce, whom he shares with wife Savannah James, is at the University of Arizona and will play on the Arizona Wildcats basketball team. In a video shared via social media in August, LeBron, 40, sang with excitement as Bryce came home for a few days. " ‘Dat boy from college for a lil bit' @_justbryce beard lookin tuff tho." In an Instagram post following his graduation, Savannah, 38, shared: "So proud of you and all the hard work you've done to get to this point. This is only the beginning! Keep striving to be the absolute best version of you! Love you more than words can explain and so excited to see what the future has for you!! I love you Stink!!"
Riby Maguire
Tobey Maguire and ex-wife Jennifer Meyer's daughter, Ruby, will reportedly be attending Brown University. "Congratulations Ruby!!!!! ♥ Graduate of our dreams. We are so proud of you in every way. We love love love love love you baby ♥," Meyer, 48, wrote alongside photos shared via Instagram in May.
Oliver Phillips
Julie Bowen and ex-husband Scott Phillips celebrated their son Oliver's high school graduation in June. "To the most original, interesting, and funny kid I know…congratulations @itsoliverphillips! You are a high school graduate! The future is yours (but that cigar will definitely make you puke)," Bowen, 55, wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside photos of Oliver with a cigar in his mouth.
Marco Valastro
Buddy Valastro's son will be heading to Syracuse for college. "Congratulations Marco! Graduated and now college-bound, right alongside your brother at Syracuse! Proud doesn't even begin to cover it," the Cake Boss, 48, wrote via Instagram in June. "Go show them what you're made of, we love you ."
Beckett Mazeau
Jenna Lyons' son with ex-husband Vincent Mazeau graduated from high school in June and will be attending Rice University for engineering in the fall. His proud mom used star, heart, lighting bolt, medal and rocket emojis, among others, to display her excitement over her son's accomplishments in a post via Instagram.
Gable Nealon
Kevin Nealon and Susan Yeagley's son Gable will be attending USC in the fall. "We could not be prouder of this kid! Great Commencement Speech! Congratulations, Gable! Fight on!" Kevin, 71, wrote via Instagram following his son's high school graduation in May.
Kasseem Dean Jr.
Swizz Beatz's son, whom he shares with ex Mashonda Tifrere, will be attending NYU. "This is what we all do it for in real life Today we celebrate the 18th Bday of Kasseem JRWe also celebrated him going to NYU ," Swizz, 46, shared alongside videos and photos via Instagram in December 2024. "The amazing part was he didn't know he was accepted we saved the news for his Bday Blessings to all the parents going hard for the future aka the Kids Happy Birthday @yayachronicles we can't wait to see you take over King."
