Hamburger Night

The Atwater VFW Post 9946 presents Hamburger Night every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1390 Broadway in the Memorial Building in Atwater. For more information, call 209-358-7224. All proceeds are used for supporting our Veterans.

Benefit Dinner at Italo Lodge

The Italian Catholic Federation will host a family-style polenta and chicken dinner to benefit scholarships and various community and religious programs including Merced Rescue Mission, Habitat for Humanity, St. Vincent de Paul, Catholic Charities of Merced and others, from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Italo American Lodge, 18th and U Streets, Merced. College fair

Pacheco High School will hold its college fair event Wednesday. The fair will feature colleges presenting information for prospective students. The fair will be held at the high school from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Le Grand Youth Group

The Le Grand United Methodist Church begins a monthly Community Youth Group for youth ages 10 to 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. There will be singing, worship, fun activity and snacks each month. For more information, contact Tonya Moreno at 209-631-4926 or Donna Reiman at 209-777-4939.

Autumn Yard Sale

Atwater Garden Club hosts an Autumn Yard Sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at 2419 Kohen Court, Atwater. For more information, call Jill Loving 209-489-7533.

Tiny Tots Pumpkin Party

Merced’s annual Tiny Tots Pumpkin Party is a time for kids ages 3 to 8 to decorate a pumpkin and partake in other Halloween fun. Costumes and parents are welcome. The party starts at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Sam Pipes Room in the Merced Civic Center, 678 W. 18th St. The cost is $7 a child. Space is limited so pre-registration is required. Register at the City of Merced Parks and Recreation Department at 632 W. 18th St. Call 209-385-6235 for more information.

Harvest Festival & Potluck

The Livingston United Methodist Church will be having its annual Harvest Festival & Potluck at noon on Oct. 29 at the Pioneer Hall, 11695 Olive Ave., Livingston. The entrance fee is only on non-perishable food item. Don’t forget to wear your costumes.

Free YARTS days

Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS) will provide free transit service to Yosemite National Park on all free National Park Service gate days for the next three years, officials said. The first free service days are Nov. 11 and 12. Free service events will be posted on the YARTS Facebook page at www.facebook.com/rideyarts and at www.yarts.com.
