Buhach Music Crab Fundraiser

The Buhach Colony High School Music Boosters of Atwater hosts its 13th annual crab feed from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Pavilion at the Merced County Fairgrounds, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way The event features the Buhach Colony Jazz Ensemble, a raffle, and a dessert auction. Free Mental Illness Class

NAMI Merced will host free weekly classes this spring for those suffering with mental health issues beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at 480 E. 13th St., Merced. Classes will end April 26. The course provides information on many mental illnesses as well as coping skills, recovery and rehabilitation. Classes are taught by people who have experienced mental illness and are certified by NAMI California to offer courses to the community. You do not have to have been diagnosed to attend. Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group

The next meeting of the Merced Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 8 the Hoffmeister Center, 1920 Canal St., Merced. Merced County Historical Society

The Merced County Historical Society holds its annual membership meeting at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Merced County Board of Supervisors Chambers. Society officers and board members will be installed and awards and grants will be presented. The keynote speaker will be Ron Genini of Fresno, author of California on the Edge of American History. Toy Show in Merced

The seventh annual Chaos Collectibles Toy Show Round-up takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Merced Elk’s Lodge, 1910 M St., Merced. Admission is $5. Early-bird time runs from 9 to 11 a.m. that day and the early admission price is $10. Vintage toys from as early as the 1920s will be on display. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Atwater Veterans Park Restoration fund. For more information, call 209-631-6277.
