VFW Auxiliary Bunco Bash
The Livingston-Delhi VFW Auxiliary, No. 8327, will be holding a Bunco Bash on Saturday at the Livingston Veterans Hall, 1605 Seventh St. Lunch is at 11 a.m. and Bunco starts at noon. Tickets are $20 and available from any member. The ticket price covers the luncheon and participation in Bunco games. All proceeds will go toward the VFW programs. VFW building materials sale
The Livingston-Delhi Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8327, will be holding a huge building materials sale at the Veterans Memorial Hall, 799 Stephens St., Delhi. All new merchandise priced at 25 cents on the dollar. Materials for sale include electrical, plumbing, lawn and garden, flooring, windows, bathtubs, doors and many other items. The sale continues through Saturday . Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday , and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. All sales are final with no warranties. Contractors welcome. Cash or checks only, no credit cards. All proceeds will go to the California Veterans Service Program. Atwater car show
There will be a car show at Big Creek Lumber, 2050 Industrial Road, Atwater, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy classic cars, raffle prizes and a free ice cream. Those attending the show can vote for the fan favorite car. Lunch will be available for purchase from the Bella Luna food truck. Entry to the show is free. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Atwater Police Activities League and the American Legion Post No. 83.
Healthy House special program
Healthy House will feature a program of Hmong fashion, with traditional music and dance, at its Annual Spring Multicultural Dinner on Saturday at the Elk’s Lodge in Merced. Funds raised will support African American Health Disparities Project and the Honor HUR Program (Honoring Human Rights for Ethnic Women and Girls). A social hour will kick off the event at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person or $300 per table and are available at the Healthy House office, 301 W. l8th St., Suite 101, in Merced. New Hope Church yard sale
New Hope Church Women’s Ministry will be having a yard and tri-tip sandwich sale to fund Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets that are provided to families in need. The yard sale will be held 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Tri-tip sandwiches will be sold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost of the sandwich is $6, which includes chips and a drink. The New Hope Church is at 2150 Cherry St. in Merced. For questions or to buy sandwich tickets, call (209) 723-6433.
