Merced College Retired Women

Shrine Club Fizz Breakfast
Merced-Mariposa Shrine Club will host its Fizz Breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 20 at Atwater Veterans’ Park, Bellevue and Buhach roads in Atwater. NAUS Meeting at Castle Air Museum
The National Association for Uniformed Services, H. Wayne Hein Chapter 18, will meet at 10 a.m. June 20 at the Castle Air Museum banquet room. Genealogy lecture
Barbara Washburn is the speaker this month at the Merced County Genealogical Society meeting. Washburn is a family history specialist with more than 20 years of experience. Her topic is “Finding Lost Cousins and Living Relatives.” The meeting is at 1 p.m. June 20 in the Gracey Room, Merced County Library, 2100 O St. The meeting is open to the public.
Dancing For Birth Class
Merced College Community Services will be offering the class “Dancing for Birth and Post-Partum” beginning July 20 and ending Aug. 10. The class runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Monday. The cost is $25 per participant. For more information, please call (209) 384-6224 or email communitysvc@mccd.edu.
Giants vs. A’s trip
Merced College Community Services is offering a bus trip to see the San Francisco Giants play the Oakland A’s at AT&T Park. The trip is from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 25. Merced High Class of 1980
Merced High School 1980 Class Reunion – 35th Anniversary will be held outdoors at the Vista Ranch Cellars, Merced, on Sept. 19, from 6 to 11 p.m. A casual event, the price is $12 per person and includes use of the venue, music and all the amenities of Vista Ranch Cellars.
