Scholarship fundraiser dinner
Livingston Community Health will host its third annual scholarship-fundraiser dinner at 5 p.m. today at Hilmar Cheese Co., 9001 Lander Ave in Hilmar. This year's event will honor the 2015 scholarship recipients and feature a tri-tip dinner as well as a raffle and auction benefiting the scholarship program. Tickets are $35 apiece. NAUS meeting at Castle Air Museum
The National Association for Uniformed Services, H. Wayne Hein Chapter 18, will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Castle Air Museum banquet room. Elks Park pancake breakfast
The Merced Elks Park crew will serve pancakes from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Merced Elks Park, 3600 Wardrobe Ave. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, orange juice and coffee. Wills gospel concert in Atwater

Merced-Atwater Tea Party meeting
The Merced-Atwater Tea Party regular monthly meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Atwater Memorial Building, Fifth Street and Broadway Avenue in Atwater. The speaker for the evening will be Stan Thurston, mayor of Merced. The group will also conduct its monthly straw poll for the presidential candidates. This event is open to to the public.
Cancer Treatment Workshop
A free two-hour workshop for female cancer patients experiencing appearance-related side effects from their treatment will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 14 at the UC Davis Mercy Cancer Center, 3850 G St. in Merced. Pre-registration is required. For more information, call 800-227-2345.
Merced High School Class of 1980
Merced High School 1980 Class Reunion – 35th Anniversary will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. on Sept. 19 under the stars at Vista Ranch Cellars. A casual event, the price is $12 per person and includes use of the venue, music and all amenities of Vista Ranch Cellars. There will be a no-host bar and no-host dinner. Support for families
Challenged Family Resource Center, a support group for families who have children with disabilities, meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the last Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at 827 W. 20th St. A children’s play group is offered at the same location from 11 a.m. to noon every Tuesday. For more information, call 209-385-5314.
Sunrise Toastmasters
