First Tee Junior Golf in Merced
Registration is underway for the fall First Tee Junior Golf in Merced. The program is open to children ages 5 to 17. Practices are held Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. at the Merced Golf and Country Club, 6333 Golf Road in Merced. The nine-week program runs this Wednesday through Oct. 28. Jr. Blue Devil Splashball and Beginning Water Polo classes
Merced College Community Services is offering Jr. Blue Devil Splashball (ages 5-9) and Water Polo (ages 10-14), which began Tuesday and runs through Oct. 22. Farmers Insurance Group Women’s Lunch

Merced Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group meeting
The Merced Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group’s next meeting is 1 to 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Hoffmeister Center, 1920 Canal St. in Merced. If your toes/fingers and or feet/hands tingle or feel numb, you might have peripheral neuropathy. You are not alone. Round- table discussion and informative handouts will be available. Beers and Brats Dinner in Merced
Merced Mayor Pro Tem Josh Pedrozo will host his annual Beers and Brats Dinner 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Merced Fruit Barn, 4526 E. Highway 140 in Merced. All-you-can-eat sausages, Portuguese beans, rolls, salad and beverages will be served for $10 per person. Takeout orders available.
ServSafe Workshop at Merced College

Stephan Gray Memorial Gold Tournament
The 10th annual Stephan Gray Memorial Fund/Merced Police Officers Association Golf Tournament tees off at 8 a.m. Sept. 26 at the Rancho Del Rey Golf Club, 5250 Green Sands Ave. in Atwater.
