Harvest Time Food yard sale

Harvest Time Food Ministry will host a fundraising yard sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the corner of R and 10th streets in Merced. The event raises money for the program, which provides food boxes to families in need. For more information, call 209-723-2395.

Storytime at Barnes & Noble Merced

Barnes & Noble will host a Storytime for Kids event at 11 a.m. Saturday at its Merced location, 1720 W. Olive Ave. Children can hear the story, “Pete the Cat and the Bedtime Blues Storytime.” The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 209-386-0571.

Pride In Your Ride car show

The Pride In Your Ride auto show in support of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life will take place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Macready Park at the Merced regional airport. The event is free to the public, but donations are accepted. Preregistration for autos is encouraged. Registration comes with a $10 entry fee. Mariposa Farm Bureau fundraiser

The Mariposa Farm Bureau will be holding its annual fundraiser rib-eye steak dinner Saturday at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, Building A, 5007 Fairground Road in Mariposa. The doors will open at 5 p.m. for social hour with a hosted bar, and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.. Tickets are $35 per person or $250 for a table for eight. Children under 5 are free. NAACP banquet

Merced County’s NAACP Chapter 1047 plans its annual Freedom Fund Banquet, themed “Today’s Choice = Tomorrow’s Success,” at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Merced Senior Community Center, 755 W. 15th St. in Merced. Merced High Class of 1955 luncheon

Bunco Bash

The Livingston/Delhi VFW Auxiliary will host Bunco on Oct. 24. Never played? It only takes a few minutes to learn this fun game. There will be prizes, and before the Bunco game starts at noon, soup and homemade bread will be served for lunch at 11 a.m. A $20 entry fee covers lunch and games.
