Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble will host a Storytime for Kids at 11 a.m. Saturday at 1720 W. Olive Ave. Children can hear the story “Click, Clack, Boo!” by Coreen Cronin. The event is free. For more information, call 209-386-0571.

Fall carnival in Atwater

The fall carnival runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s School, 1801 Winton Way, Atwater. The event, formally known as “The Monster Mash,” will feature games, mazes, a fun house, food and a country store. Menu items include carnitas, rice and beans, hot dogs with chips, nachos, sodas and bottled water. Game and dinner tickets are on sale at the school.

Lions in Sight event in Livingston

The Lions White Cane Road Block to collect money for Lions in Sight will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Main and F streets in Livingston. The project is an International Lions Project that recycles eyeglasses, has eliminated River Blindness, and is working on all other causes of blindness around the world. Salute to Veterans

Veterans are invited to Our Lady of Mercy School’s 10th annual Salute to Veterans at 8:30 a.m. Nov.10. Students are honored to welcome veterans to thank them for their sacrifice and service to our nation. The school is at 1400 E. 27th St. Parking is available on 27th Street and behind the school just east of Glen Avenue off Santa Fe Avenue.

Neuropathy Support Group

The Merced Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group’s next meeting is 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Hoffmeister Center, 1920 Canal St. Tingling or numbness in toes, fingers, feet and/or hands could indicate peripheral neuropathy. Belly Dance Fitness, Levels I and II

Dancing for Birth (and Post-Partum) classes
