Christmas Bazaar
The Merced United Methodist Women will be holding its 85th annual Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 899 Yosemite Parkway. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10. Featured at the bazaar will be unique decorations and gifts, including the candy room, bake shop, boutique room, arts and attic treasures, Margaret Freed jam and jelly room, Christmas room, silent auction, Mattie’s tea room, cheeseballs, and Hmong crafts and egg rolls. Christmas Open House at the Courthouse Museum
On Dec. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m., the public is invited to experience a Community Christmas at the Courthouse Museum. The historic building’s halls have been decked and rooms have been filled with more than 70 Christmas trees. Treats and traditional courthouse eggnog will be served. Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group
The Merced Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group’s next meeting is 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Hoffmeister Center, 1920 Canal St. Tingling or numbness in the toes, fingers, feet or hands could indicate peripheral neuropathy. The Merced Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is holding its 23rd annual Christmas Home Tour on Dec.13.
