Math Bee

Merced College will host its third annual Math Integration Bee at 10 a.m. Saturday. Calculus students at Merced College will take an hourlong qualifying test from which the top 16 students will be chosen. For more information, call Kristen Rieg at 209-384-6353.

Corn beef and cabbage

Ballico American Legion Post 668’s annual corn beef and cabbage dinner is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Legion Hall, 11303 Ballico Ave. in Ballico. The dinner typically sells out. Tickets are $10. For more, call 209-769-5625.

Hunter safety

The city of Merced’s recreation department offers a Hunter Safety and Range Instruction class, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 19-20, May 21-22, and July 16-17. Cost is $15. Classes are at the Senior Community Center, 755 West 15th St. Call 209-385-6298 for more information or register at City Hall, 678 W. 18th St. Classes fill up fast.

Bunco and lunch

The Livingston-Delhi Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary plans a lunch and Bunco Bash at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Livingston Veterans Memorial Hall, 1605 Seventh St. The event is open to everyone and tickets are $20, which includes lunch. Merced Literary Review

Editors of Merced College’s Merced River Literary Review are accepting submissions of poems, short stories, flash fiction, short plays, artwork and creative nonfiction. The deadline to submit original work is midnight April 9. All submissions must be electronic and can be sent to editors@mccd.edu. Tahiti Fete

The Kiki Raina Tahiti Fete begins at 5 p.m. March 18 and will continue for the next two days at Golden Valley High School, 2121 E. Motorcycle run

The Atwater Kiwanis Club and Blue Star Moms of Merced plan the 11th annual motorcycle ride called Veterans Memorial Support the Troops Run at 10 a.m. April 9. MS support

The Merced multiple sclerosis support group will meet 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, 500 Buena Vista Ave. in Merced. The group provides support and education for individuals diagnosed with MS and their families. For more, call Susan at 209-631-7279.

Restorative Justice

Le Grand High School Restorative Justice League plans the Fourth Annual Restorative Justice Conference from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Cesar E. Chavez Middle School, 161 Plainsburg Road in Planada.
