Survivor breakfast

Restorative justice

Le Grand High School Restorative Justice League will hold the fourth Annual Restorative Justice Conference from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Cesar E. Chavez Middle School, 161 Plainsburg Road, Planada. The event is open to anyone of middle school age. Deep pit barbecue

The 69th annual Deep Pit Barbecue prepared by the men of the Le Grand Methodist Church will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Le Grand Elementary School’s all-purpose room, 13071 Le Grand Road, Le Grand. The meal includes barbecued beef, beans, salad, roll, butter, dessert and drink. Cost is $12.50 for adults; $6 for children 6 to 12 years of age; and free for children 5 years old and younger. T-shirt fundraiser

New Beginnings for Merced County Animals is offering T-shirts and sweatshirts that read “Stop the Littering” and are decorated with animals and paw prints. The $15 shirts and $20 sweatshirts come in a variety of colors and can be ordered online at www.booster.com/new-beginnings-fundraiser-3. The campaign ends Thursday. All proceeds go to transport and medical expenses for animals of Merced County. For more information, call 209-354-4667.

New museum exhibit

The Merced County Courthouse Museum kicks off its new exhibit, “Gold Fever! The Untold Stories of California’s Gold Rush,” with an open house at 5 p.m. Thursday at 5 p.m. at the museum, 21st and N streets. Merced author and educator Eugene Hart will present at 6 p.m. For more, call 209-723-2401.

Grant application

The Wahnetta Hall Trust Fund, doled out by the Merced City Council, is taking applications for the $1,240 available this year for a program or concert in Applegate Park. The application deadline is Thursday. Nonprofits interested in applying should submit letters of request to Mike Conway, director of Office of Recreation, 678 W. 18th St., Merced, CA 95340. Rummage sale

A rummage sake to benefit Hmong ministries is set for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2 at St. Paul Lutheran Church library, 2916 N. McKee Road. Habitat for Humanity

Merced College’s football boosters plan a Blue Devil Blitz fundraiser with a goal of $10,000.
