No-kill shelter benefit

The Merced SPCA art and bake sale is 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the shelter, 1021 E. Childs Ave. Food and raffle drawings are planned. Proceeds benefit the no-kill shelter. For more, call 209-384-7722.

Enchilada sale

Club Mercedes’ annual enchilada sale is 2-5 p.m. April 16 at the hall, 569 W. 9th St. in Merced. Ground beef enchiladas in corn or flour tortillas are $15 per dozen. Advance purchases are preferred. Kids golf

The fourth season of The First Tee will begin at 5:45 p.m. April 13 at Merced Golf and Country Club, 6333 N. Golf Road. The Sunday classes for ages 5 to 17 will take place at 1 p.m., and the session will continue for nine weeks. Cost is $90 per child and $50 for the second child in a family. Western line dance

HSR in Madera

Odd Fellows breakfast

The Odd Fellows of LaFayette Historical Lodge 65 is planning a breakfast, which it holds on the second Sunday of each month, for 8-11 a.m. April 10 at the IOOF Hall, 30018 Yosemite Blvd. in La Grange. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham and cheese omelets, and French toast. Cost for adults is $6; for ages 7 to 12 it’s $3; and 6 and younger eat free. La Grange Rodeo
