World Dance

La Grange Rodeo
La Grange Rodeo events start at 8 a.m. Sunday at the La Grange Rodeo Arena, 30433 Yosemite Blvd., La Grange. Tickets are $15 at the gate, $10 for kids 6-12, 5 and younger get in free. Rummage sale

Adult volleyball
The city of Merced Parks and Recreation and DuPont Volleyball Academy are taking team registrations for an adult volleyball league beginning in May. Cost is $450 per team and the registration deadline is April 15. All games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Space is limited. LB academy
The Los Banos Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Merced College Customer Service Academy, will offer a Communication in the Workplace workshop from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday and again from 1 to 5 p.m. the same day at Merced College’s Los Banos campus, 22240 Highway 152. Adult literacy tutors
The Merced County Literacy Program plans orientation and training for volunteers who would like to become tutors in Merced and surrounding counties. Orientation is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 19 at the Merced County Library, 2100 O St. Training is from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 22 at the library. MAGA golf tourney
Registration for the Merced Mexican American Golf Association’s annual tournament is required by April 10.
