LB Street Faire

Los Banos Chamber of Commerce’s annual Downtown Spring Street Faire begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, along Sixth Street in Los Banos. More than 80 vendors will sell crafts, antiques, jewelry, food and face painting, to name a few offerings. For more information, call the chamber at 209-826-2495.

Second Saturdays

Performers with Hip Hop and More are part of the Merced County Office of Education and Merced Multicultural Arts Center’s latest Second Saturday offering at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the center’s Black Box Theatre, 645 W. Main St. The group is part of Merced’s Building Young Leaders Performing Arts program. Cost is $3 for children; adults attend for free. For more information, call 209-388-1090.

Odd Fellows breakfast

The Odd Fellows of LaFayette Historical Lodge No. 65 plans a breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the IOOF Hall, 30018 Yosemite Boulevard, La Grange. The menu of biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham and cheese omelets, and French toast is $6. Cost is $6; kids 7 to 12 pay $3, and 6 and younger eat for free. Free shredding

Adult volleyball

The city of Merced Parks and Recreation and DuPont Volleyball Academy are taking team registrations for an adult volleyball league beginning in May. Cost is $450 per team and the registration deadline is Friday. All games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Space is limited. Enchilada sale

Club Mercedes’ annual enchilada sale will be from 2 to 5 p.m. April 16 at the hall, 569 W. Ninth St. Ground beef enchiladas in corn or flour tortillas are $15 per dozen. Advance purchases are preferred. Beans or rice are $5 per container. Proceeds benefit the club’s youth baseball sponsorship and college endowment fund. Tea party meeting

David Rogers, a candidate for the 16th Congressional District, will give his views and discuss current events at a meeting of the Merced Tea Party Patriots, which meets every third Thursday. This month’s gathering is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 21 at the Atwater VFW Memorial Hall, 1390 Broadway, Atwater.

Lap swim
