Central California Legal Services staff members provide legal advice and representation to eligible individuals in tenant rights and homeless issues; Social Security and SSI disability cases; senior citizen legal issues; public benefit issues such as CalWorks, unemployment, Medi-Cal and health care concerns; and other civil law matters. Youth Council

La Grange breakfast
Breakfast at the IOOF Hall in La Grange is held the second Sunday of each month, and the next one is 8-11 a.m. Sunday at the IOOF Hall, 30018 Yosemite Blvd. in La Grange. The meal includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham and cheese omelets, and French toast. Cost is $6. Children’s meals for ages 7 to 12 are $3; 6 and under eat free. Movie night
Hinds Hospice plans its second annual Outdoor Family Movie Night from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. June 24 at the Merced County Fairgrounds Outdoor Theater, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The showing of “Minions” begins at 8:30 p.m. Activities include a concession stand, face painting, balloon animals and a “Minions” character to take pictures with. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children; or $25 for a family four-pack. Children 6 and under get in free. Sierra Artists’ Gallery of Mariposa is calling on photographers from the Central Valley and Sierra to submit work to the Photography Fest and Sale.
