Super Bowl Party
A Super Bowl Party will be held at the American Legion at 3 p.m. Sunday, 939 W. Main St. There will be finger foods and free raffle drinks. Bring your best pot luck food. Kickoff is 4 p.m. Wear your team jersey and root for your team.
Mental health meeting
The monthly meeting of the Merced County Mental Health Board will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at 1137 B St. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month.
Black tie gala
Classic Hollywood is the theme for the Providence Christian School black tie gala dinner and auction at 5 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Merced County Fairgrounds Pavillion. Tickets are $50 each or $400 for a table of eight, and can be purchased by calling (209) 383-4727. Donations of auction items can be dropped off at the school office at 2142 Yosemite Ave.
Crime walk fundraiser

Rotary Crab dinner

Indoor soccer
Merced’s Recreation Department and the Indoor Sports Center will offer indoor youth soccer on Saturdays in March and April for ages 3 to 10 at the Indoor Sports Center. Cost is $45 plus an additional $10 for the uniform. Registration deadline is Feb. 7. Register at 1033 W. Main St. or call (209) 385-6298 for more information.
Story time
Come join the fun at 10 a.m. Wednesdays for Baby Story Time and at 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. Fridays for Preschool Story Times at the Merced County Library, 2100 O St. Preschool Story Time is 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at the Livingston library, 1212 Main St., Livingston. Story time helps increase children’s print awareness and vocabulary and instills a love of books.
