Street Faire

Car show

Retirees to meet
The California State Retirees Association Chapter 5 serves Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Stanislaus and Tuolumne counties. Its next meeting is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 14 at a new meeting place, Fuddruckers Restaurant, 3848 McHenry Ave. No. 410 in Modesto. Meals are each diner’s expense. For more, call 209-338-3833.
Music therapy
Merced College offers a noncredit class, Music Therapy for Older Adults, from 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 14 in Music Building Room 2 at the college, 3600 M St. The course is free. For more, call 209-381-6541.
Craft fair
Due to popular demand, the La Grange Odd Fellows of Lafayette Historical Lodge No. 65 plans a second crafts fair, which will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 16 at the IOOF Hall, 30018 Yosemite Blvd. in La Grange. Tea and Bazaar
Native Daughters of the Golden West Veritas Parlor No. 75 plans its annual Tea and Bazaar with a “Christmas in July” theme 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 23 at Valley Baptist Church, 3312 G St. in Merced. Extreme reg
Students looking for one-stop shopping for college classes can got to Extreme Registration events 9 a.m. Aug. 6 at the Merced College main campus, 3600 M St., or Los Banos Campus, 22240 Highway 152. Prospective students will be able to meet with counselors, attend academic planning workshops, go through assessment, select classes, and purchase textbooks and parking passes.
