Transfer Day

Merced College plans Transfer Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and College Night from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 1 at the college, 3600 M St. State four-year colleges and universities will be on site. Atwater reunion

The Atwater High School Class of 1996 reunion is from 5:30 p.m. to midnight Sept. 3 at the Atwater Community Center, 760 E. Bellevue Road, Atwater. Tickets are $50 per person or $60 at the door. Street sale

The city of Chowchilla presents Treasure Hunters Market from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 24 on Trinity Avenue between Second and Third streets in Chowchilla. This is a marketplace that may appeal to both sellers and buyers. Applications are available at a cost of $25 for an 18-by-15 booth space. Dinner theater

The AARP’s Merced chapter is opening to all seniors its Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater trip for “Camelot” in Fresno on Sept. 25. No membership required. The trip includes brunch and a show, and special entertainment just for the group. Bus leaves from Merced at 9 a.m. and arrives back about 5 p.m. Reservations and a deposit of $50 must be made by Aug. 24. The remaining $50 fee is due the day of the trip.
