Free health exams available March 21 in Atwater

Castle Family Health Centers in Atwater will offer free health examinations Saturday, March 21.

The medical screenings will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at the centers’ Bloss Medical Clinic, 1251 Grove Ave., near Ralston Park.

Services will include: diabetes and blood pressure screenings, breast examinations, and vision tests for adults. Hearing and vision exams will be available for children.

The event will include health resource booths, raffles, refreshments and entertainment for children.

Castle Family Health Centers conducts a larger-scale medical screening event each summer, which attracts people from across Merced County and surrounding areas. Such events are organized to help community members who remain uninsured with medical expenses, organizers have said in the past.
