A second person has died in Saturday’s head-on crash on Highway 41 near Avenue 12 in Madera County, the Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.
Christina Jarrett, 19, was taken off life support on Monday, said Lt. Bill Ward with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
Jarrett was a passenger in a Toyota Corolla that was headed south on Highway 41, south of Avenue 12, when an approaching Toyota Tundra crossed the double-yellow line and smashed into the Corolla head-on, the California Highway Patrol said.
