Raising Zoey Film Screening

Building Healthy Communities Merced in collaboration with the Merced County LGBTQ+ Alliance will present a special screening of “Raising Zoey” Saturday at Golden Valley High School, 2121 E Childs Ave.. Pancake Breakfast Buffet

The Atwater-Winton Lions Club will be holding its annual pancake breakfast buffet from 7 a.m. to noon Sept. 23 at the Atwater Women’s Club House at Third and Grove streets. The cost is $8 per person. Free Family Concert is Los Banos

Walmart, the Los Banos arts council and the City of Los Banos will host a free family concert at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Henry Miller Plaza, Sixth and H streets in Los Banos. For more information call 209-826-6132.

Hamburger Night

The next Livingston-Delhi VFW “Family Hamburger Night” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Livingston Veterans Memorial Hall, 1605 Seventh St., Livingston. The sandwich prices range from $3.50 to $4.50; chili for $2 a cup and a soda or water for $1. Coffee is complimentary. All sandwiches come with a choice of potato salad or green salad. You do not have to be a member to attend this event.

Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity of Merced County is holding a fundraiser on Wednesday and Thursday at both Carl’s Jr locations in Merced and also in Atwater. The restaurant will donate 25 percent of their proceeds from both days to Habitat.

Christian Biker Rally

The 11th annual Christian biker rally is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 7 at Madera Courthouse Park on the corner of Yosemite and Gateway in downtown Madera. The event is free to the public. For more information call Ron Snipes 559-474-9209.

Victims walk

The ninth annual Riley Brothers Victims Remembrance Walk, in honor of family and friends who lost their lives in Merced in the Loughborough area, begins at noon Oct. 14 in the FoodMaxx parking lot, 1300 W. Olive Ave. Participants generally place flowers throughout the neighborhood, play music and talk about lost loved ones.
