DMV announces ‘time-saving’ improvements

Customers who need to schedule an appointment with the California Department of Motor Vehicles online can now view available dates and times at a number of nearby offices all at once.

Previously, customers had to search each DMV office to locate available appointments.

The new appointment system allows customers to make an appointment at their desired DMV office and provides easy-to-reference appointment options at surrounding offices.

“We understand that your time is valuable and by offering this enhancement system, we hope this will better meet the needs of your busy schedule,” said DMV Director Jean Shiomoto in a news release. “Our goal is to allow you to find the most suitable appointment as quickly and conveniently as possible.”
