Teen in hospital after deadly crash on Henry Miller Road

The investigation continued Tuesday into a fatal crash on Henry Miller Road involving two people who were not carrying any identification at the time, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A CHP news release reports that a 1999 Toyota Camry was driven about 8:10 a.m. Sunday by a 16-year-old male headed east on Henry Miller Road east of Cherokee Road.

The teen allowed the car to drift to the north and hit a utility pole, the CHP stated. The pole was sheered off its foundation and power lines were damaged.

The right front passenger, an adult male, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. According to the CHP, the passenger and driver had no identification on them.

The teen was transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto and is being treated for major injuries.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the CHP.
