Fahrens Park home to disc golf tournament on Saturday

More than 100 people are registered to compete in a disc golf tournament at Fahrens Park in Merced on Saturday.

The tournament includes 16 divisions. The cost was $30 or $40 to register, though registration for this event already is closed.

The Fahrens Park disc golf course is a 20-hole course and can be accessed from R Street or Buena Vista Drive.

Check-in for the tournament will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m, and tee time for the players is at 9 a.m.

The course, which previously had nine holes, recently was renovated to add more holes.
