Merced police searching for Home Depot burglars

Merced police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two burglars who stole thousands of dollars in tools from Home Depot.

Video surveillance captured the two men committing the crime about 2 a.m. Monday at the Home Depot at 1735 W. Highway 140 in Merced.

Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Jose Barajas at 209-388-7828 or the Merced Police Department’s tipster line at 209-385-4725.

Tipsters also can send an anonymous text message to TIP411, or 847411; include “ComVIP” as the keyword in the message.
