Here are the offices and services that will be closed or running on altered schedules for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Memorial Day is Monday. Originally, the day was called Decoration Day and honored Civil War soldiers on both sides who died. Today, Memorial Day is a federal holiday and honors those who have died serving in the U.S. military.
