Los Banos neighbors report car tires slashed

A Los Banos neighborhood was hit hard last week with a string of slashed tires.

Los Banos police are investigating a vandalism case in which at least 14 vehicles around Idaho Avenue and West K Street have flat tires from being punctured with a sharp object. Police said early in the investigation the vehicles did not seem targeted and the crimes were committed at random.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the police department immediately.
