All things wings focus for new Los Banos restaurant
Wingstop’s newest location in the Central Valley opened in Los Banos on July 4.
The classic and boneless chicken-wing restaurant at 1989 E. Pacheco Blvd. is one of 900 locations of the franchise chain. There are 10 other locations in the Central Valley, mostly along Interstate 99 near Modesto, Merced and Fresno.
Along with made-to-order wings, Wingstop specializes in fries and side dishes, according to a news release.
So far, the restaurant has been a hit, Los Banos location owner Jason Khan said. Khan, who owns several other Wingstops, said he was thrilled about the quick expansion of Wingstop in California.
“Volume is very high so far,” Khan said Tuesday. “We just had to order an extra delivery from our distributor today.”
Khan said he has needed to bring in managers and other crew members from surrounding locations to help out as the new restaurant eases in to Los Banos.
Wingstop is open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight.
